Congratulations to Bellator fighter Rich “Rare Breed” Hale. After facing a disappointing loss in his last fight he’s back with a vengeance. This past weekend at Bellator 55 in Yuma, Arizona, he made quick work of previously undefeated fighter Carlos Flores. Keep an eye on Hale as he scraps his way back to the top of the Bellator tournament mountain. The Arizona Desert Challenge is a Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu & Submission Grappling Tournament that took place July 9th at Sunnyslope High School. Many Weapons was on the scene and our gear was in effect. The 6th Arizona International Open of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu took place on February 26th and 27th in Mesa, Arizona. It was an awesome event with lots of talented BJJ practitioners on hand. It was an incredible GD Jiu-Jitsu event featuring 700 competitors and a number of amazing matches. Many Weapons released a new design “Match Maneuvers” which was well received. Christian and Christopher Broadnax mentioned in Gracie Mag
The student of our GMA Gustavo Dantas at Nova União Arizona, Christian Broadnax will likely keep up his title-winning ways at purple belt. At the last Pan, while still a blue belt, he won both his weight and the open weight divisions. Along with him comes his twin brother, Christopher Broadnax, who is also a Pan 2010 champion. Congratulations to Mackenzie Dern also mentioned in this article.

Congratulations to (Novo Uniao’s) Issa Able from GD Jiu-Jitsu for securing his spot to compete in Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row, after winning the Purple/Open Light and to Kristina Barlaan who took 2nd in the purple to black/129 and 2nd in the open class and to Aaron Wilson who took 2nd in white/163.

Many Weapons teamed up with KC Sullivan at SandBar Mexican Grill Chandler for some Delicious Food, drinks, and the best patio in Arizona. It was a good time with good people and good fights.
The KC Sullivan Story is a documentary film project that is currently in production in Phoenix, Arizona documenting the struggles of upcoming cage fighter KC Sullivan as she battles her emotional past and current physical limitations.
