Gustavo Dantas recaps the biggest BJJ tournament in Arizona history. This video talks about Gustavo’s background, the evolution of Arizona Jiu-Jitsu and tournament highlights. This tournament featured many of jiu-jitsu greats including Robson Moura, Kron Gracie and as well as current WEC light weight champion Ben Henderson.

TWO MANY WEAPONS | CHRISTIAN AND CHRISTOPHER BROADNAX
I’m not sure what is more amazing the fact that the 16 year old Broadnax twins (Christian and Christopher) completely dismantled their division and faced off in the final at the 1st Southwest Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu Classic in October or that they predicted it would happen. Either way the talent possessed by this dynamic duo is undeniable.
In order to stay on top of their game they regularly compete in adult divisions. In addition to BJJ supremacy they have MMA aspirations. Based on what I have witnessed thus far they are destined for greatness. They have the guard, the top game, the take downs and the submissions… Christian and Christopher Broadnax are twins with two MANY WEAPONS!!!

Every now and then, I run across a clip on the web that makes my jaw drop for a sec as I think that was an awesome display of “MANY WEAPONS” in action. The way this guy gets ktfo’ed is poetry in motion. I am totally blown away with this undeniable display of skill, technique and precision. Hopefully, you find this clip equally impressive.

GD JIU-JITSU Events in association with the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (AZSBJJF) delivered the 1st Southwest Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Classic 2009. MANY WEAPONS was the primary sponsor!!!
This video is packed with some of the most amazing sweeps, submission and tapouts ever witnessed in a single competition. One things for sure these guys were definitely Armed and Dangerous!!! They were packing heat and unleashed an all out assault with “MANY WEAPONS”!!!
Gustavo Dantas | Arizona BJJ State Championship 2009 | Interview
The 2009 Arizona BJJ State Championship took place in Mesa, AZ on July 11th & 12th with 430 competitors in attendance. These competitors came from places such as: CA, NV, TX, NM, NY, MD, CO, UT, local teams from all over Arizona, and even one team coming from Mexico.

Team GD Jiu-Jitsu was well represented at the tournament by winning 1st place in Adult Division and 3rd place at Kids Division.
