Gracie Mag Features 2nd Southwest Classic Promo Video

Many Weapons is a proud sponsor of the 2nd Southwest BJJ Classic. The event is being coordinated by GD JIU-JITSU Events in association with the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (AZSBJJF). The competition will take place on October 16 & 17 at Westwood High School located at 945 W. 8th St. in Mesa, AZ 85201. We are excited to be a part of such a stellar competition. Keep checking back, in the next few weeks we will be debuting some brand new designs and making a special announcement. We have a few big things poppin’ and are looking forward to sharing the news with our small community of loyal fans, supporters and representatives.

Also due to popular demand we will be stepping up our efforts to create new sponsorship opportunities for next level talent. Be sure to pick up some of our gear in October for special consideration. Nova Uniao takes 2nd @ Vegas Open, 3rd @ No-Gi Nationals

Congratulations to team GD Jiu-Jitsu. Steve Rosenberg 2nd place. Issa Able 1st in the Purple/Light, Gustavo 1st place the Black Belt/Feather/Master and Kristina Barlaan – 1st place (Female/Feather/No-Gi) and 3rd place (Feather/Gi) & 3rd place (Open/Gi). Christian Broadnax – 2nd place (Adult/Middle/Gi) & 1st place (Adult/Middle/No-Gi). Also congratulations to everyone who went to Vegas and made it happen. There’s too many others to name.

Many Champions With Many Weapons

We want to congratulate these talented Jiu – Jitsu specialists for demonstrating that hard work dedication and Many Weapons is a winning combination. These brave warriors traveled far from their respective home gyms to show the competition what they were made of. Much respect goes out to them for having what it takes to get the job done.

The 2010 International Master and Senior Championship and the Rio International Open took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 22nd to 25th. Our team was represented by Gustavo Dantas and Kristina Barlaan. Gustavo won the Black Belt/Senior 1/Feather Weight Division, and Kristina won the Blue Belt/Female/Feather Weight, and took 3rd place in the Open Division. Kristina went 5-1 with five submissions. OUR NEW WORLD CLASS BJJ SHIRT WAS A HIT WITH A FEW HIGH PROFILE COMPETITORS AT THE AZ STATE BJJ CHAMPIONSHIP. EVEN CAN BE SEEN IN A COOL EVENT RECAP ARTICLE POSTED ON GRACIE MAG.COM. CHECK IT OUT!!!

This Saturday the Arizona BJJ State Championship promoted by black belt Gustavo Dantas was held. The absolute black belt division paid out one thousand dollars to the winner and a number of gi-clad beasts took to the mats.

The big standout was Bruno Bastos. The Nova União rep had two matches on his way to taking the prize money in the open weight division. Bruno Bastos is a prime example of what people do with Many Weapons!!! Congratulations to Bruno on an excellent showing.

Ben Henderson took first in his weight group and the absolute division to boot. Congratulations Smooth Ben!!!

Broadnax twins Christian and Christopher, won the featherweight and lightweight blue belt divisions. Pan 2010 champion Kristina Barlaan won both her weight group and absolute at blue belt. Congratulations team Many Weapons/team GD Jiu-Jitsu.

Like we always do at this time… Many Weapons comes through with new gear so the BJJ Warriors that do battle in Mesa Arizona this weekend can shine brighter than ever before. We at Many Weapons want to wish the best of luck to GD Jiu-Jitsu as well as all competitors and staff. We are extremely excited to be a part of what is shaping to be the greatest State Championship of all time.

Before you get on the mat don’t forget to get weaponized!!! We have everything you need to hand out that beat down that you trained so hard and traveled so far to deliver.

Don’t forget to say hi to our camera as we are putting in extra hours to create the most devastating highlight reel of BJJ action ever compiled. This will be one for the ages!!! Special thanks goes out to our growing base of loyal supporters. We would be nothing with out you.
