The 6th Arizona International Open of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu took place on February 26th and 27th in Mesa, Arizona. It was an awesome event with lots of talented BJJ practitioners on hand. Many Weapons was fortunate enough to capture some of the once in a lifetime action. Here are some of the shots for the weekend. Check out The Many Weapons Store and pick up some new swag.
Congratulations to (Novo Uniao’s) Issa Able from GD Jiu-Jitsu for securing his spot to compete in Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row, after winning the Purple/Open Light and to Kristina Barlaan who took 2nd in the purple to black/129 and 2nd in the open class and to Aaron Wilson who took 2nd in white/163.

Many Weapons teamed up with KC Sullivan at SandBar Mexican Grill Chandler for some Delicious Food, drinks, and the best patio in Arizona. It was a good time with good people and good fights.
The KC Sullivan Story is a documentary film project that is currently in production in Phoenix, Arizona documenting the struggles of upcoming cage fighter KC Sullivan as she battles her emotional past and current physical limitations.

Many Weapons paid Smooth Ben Henderson a visit at the MMA Lab in Glendale, Arizona as he put the finishing touches on his intense training for the upcoming WEC 53 Henderson VS Pettis card. It takes place on December 16th in Glendale, AZ. Tickets are still available, for sure this is going to be a barn burner you won’t want to miss. Here are some pics from the day.
Congratulations to Kristina Barlaan, Issa Able and Bruno Bastos. Congratulations to Kristina Barlaan who won six matches, her weight and the Open, AND got promoted to Purple Belt. Congratulations to Issa Able on Gold in the purple and congratulations to Bruno Bastos on being the American National Black Adult Super Heavy Champ and and placing 2nd in the Open Class!!! Awesome job!!! There were many more big winner’s last weekend. Too many to name. Congratulations to all winners and competitors from Many Weapons..
Bostons Gilbert was as predicted the hottest spot to see FREE UFC!!! Boston’s Gourmet Pizza (Gilbert, AZ). UFC 119 was a blast! There was NO COVER! $1/$2 pints!! Many in attendance took advantage of the Order a schoooner and get a FREE order of wings special!!! What a fantastic fight night to visit Boston’s!!! Many Weapons was in the house. The fight prediction contest was awesome cool free stuff was distributed!!! Check out the pics.
Many Weapons is a proud sponsor of the 2nd Southwest BJJ Classic. The event is being coordinated by GD JIU-JITSU Events in association with the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (AZSBJJF). The competition will take place on October 16 & 17 at Westwood High School located at 945 W. 8th St. in Mesa, AZ 85201. We are excited to be a part of such a stellar competition. Keep checking back, in the next few weeks we will be debuting some brand new designs and making a special announcement. We have a few big things poppin’ and are looking forward to sharing the news with our small community of loyal fans, supporters and representatives.

The 2010 International Master and Senior Championship and the Rio International Open took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 22nd to 25th. Gustavo won the Black Belt/Senior 1/Feather Weight Division. Many Weapons Wants to congratulate Gustavo on his impressive victory.
