We want to congratulate these talented Jiu – Jitsu specialists for demonstrating that hard work dedication and Many Weapons is a winning combination. These brave warriors traveled far from their respective home gyms to show the competition what they were made of. Much respect goes out to them for having what it takes to get the job done.
The 2010 International Master and Senior Championship and the Rio International Open took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 22nd to 25th. Our team was represented by Gustavo Dantas and Kristina Barlaan. Gustavo won the Black Belt/Senior 1/Feather Weight Division, and Kristina won the Blue Belt/Female/Feather Weight, and took 3rd place in the Open Division. Kristina went 5-1 with five submissions. GD Submitting 2010 BJJ National Champion Alcenor Alves

Bruno Bastos 2010 was crowned CBJJO World Champion!!! He also won the super-heavy weight Masters and got 2nd in the Rio Open super-heavy weight both at the same time. He had 7 matches total. Next year his goal is to make all 4 classes again. He displayed serious Samurai Spirit…OSSSSSSSSSSS

Christian Broadnax won 5 matches at the South Bay Open. Christopher Broadnax was on a winning streak before being injured in a match with the opponent Christian defeated for the gold.
